9:00 pm-10:30 pm : T’s Pub – Meet the Meat
Your chance to get to know our competitors as they strut their stuff for us at T’s Pub (323 Somerset St. West). This is a fund raising event for Northern Lights Refuge so come have a cool drink, buy some 50/50 tickets and maybe win some prizes.

1:00 pm-3:00 pm : Bears on Ice – Rideau Canal – Skating – Postponed / Moved

The Rideau Canal becomes the world’s longest skating rink during the winter and the bears love to get out to enjoy the winter weather. Join us at Dow’s Lake Pavilion at 1:00 pm for a leisurely skate on the canal.
If you don’t have skates, you can rent them at Dow’s Lake Pavillion.
2:00 pm-5:00 pm : The Loft – Board Games
Join your fellow bears for some fun board games and socializing at The Loft Board Game Lounge (14 Waller Street) and enjoy your favourite cocktail from the bar or order some delicious appetizers, sandwiches or pizza from their menu. There is a $6.00 cover charge.
6:00 pm-10:00 pm : Arts Court – Mr Ottawa Bear Competition
The highlight of the weekend is the Mr Ottawa Bear competition which will take place at Arts Court Theatre (2 Daly Avenue). Doors will open at 6pm and the competition begins at 7pm featuring some furry local bears for your entertainment.
Also part of the show will be some local groups (to be announced) and talent. Beer, Wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase before the show and during intermissions.
A 50/50 draw and a silent auction will help raise funds for Northern Lights Refuge, the charity chosen by Mr Ottawa Bear 2018, Chris Nerpin.
Tickets are sold through Eventbrite for $18+service fee and are limited in number so get yours today! Unsold tickets will be available for purchase at the door for $25.Ottawa Bears paid-up members will receive a free beverage.

10:30 pm – 12:30 : T’s Pub – Celebrate MOB
Join the newly chosen Mr Ottawa Bear for some cocktails and merriment at T’s Pub (323 Somerset St. West).
10:30 pm-??? : Club Ottawa Baths – After Party
Come celebrate the crowning of a new Mr Ottawa Bear at the Club Ottawa Baths (1069 Wellington Street). A discount will be available if you mention Mr Ottawa Bear.

10:45 am : Tuckers Marketplace – Survivor’s Brunch
Cap off an amazing weekend of fun, fur and frolic with a sumptuous buffet brunch at one of Ottawa’s best brunch restaurants in town. Tucker’s Marketplace is located at 61 York Street in the Byward Market and features a massive buffet full of all things breakfast, and lunch, including a full salad bar and huge dessert section. Cost: $25 (includes one non alcoholic beverage, tax and tip)

Come warm up after skating with the Ottawa Bears at T’s Pub (323 Somerset Street West), for a nice afternoon of talking (and gossip). We meet here every Sunday afternoon and some of us usually chose a local restaurant afterward for supper.
